VANO architects was founded in 2026, based in Seoul, South Korea. This firm has explored digital architecture design, which can be applied to different types of fields such as art and science. Through experimental research methods and different kinds of education, this firm is attempting to expand the field of architecture.
Responsive Module is a system to respond to environmental factors such as population density. This project has started from making a modular prototype to building a large scale of housing. The modular system expands space and structure horizontally and vertically to respond to the density.
Most people have their own communication device like a mobile phone, but nobody wants to communicate directly with someone who never know each other on the phone. From this premise, in order to make people in New Malden communicate with someone in central London indirectly, I suggest devices to interact with each other between two places.
The idea of Wind Collector is to build something in Teotihuacan site to encourage tourists and Mexican people to commune with their ancestors. Historically, the ancients attained communion with god through a shaman. From the view of contemporary era, I believe that art work or drawings inspired by their ancestors act as a shaman to commune with them.
Generally speaking, most cathedrals are so dark and solemn that it makes people act politely to be conscious. However, I come up with the idea of the cathedral that makes people laugh and have a fun time during daytime, as well as pray for their wish to God.
